Unfortunately after a year Keena is once again looking for a new home. A note from her previous foster Mom: Keena is a very gentle, lovable and intelligent girl. She settled into our home quickly, learning our house rules and what was expected of her. Her greatest tendency is to please people, has wonderful manners, is not destructive, can be left alone without worry and shows no aggression related to food. Keena knows her basic commands and walks well on a leash and is improving. She is good with children and other dogs, although we are working on approaching dogs with less enthusiasm.
Keena needs to be in a home where everyone will have the opportunity spend time with her so she doesn't just bond to one person. She does get along with other dogs but we feel she would do best being the only dog in the home.
Areas of improvement: meeting dogs on leashed walks, properly greeting new people in the home.
