Hi, I am Bronson
He's an old timer but today isn't his time to die"
Our handsome boy BRONSON has arrived!!! Can you not tell how thankful he is for being out of the shelter!?!? Bronson has been in local shelter since MARCH 2014! His last day to live was J...an 30th but with help from some amazing volunteers, we were able to save him!
Bronson had a lengthy visit with our vet today. At 9 years old...he is in pretty rough shape (don't tell him we said that!)! He is very underweight, has open lesions and scaly skin with fur loss and an ear infection. He was sent to his foster home with some meds and a higher than normal protein diet for an old man like him which will help him gain weight and build muscle tone. We are hoping to see some good improvement in the next two weeks. Unfortunately due to his age and condition - his back end is pretty ataxic which means he will need multiple short walks by his foster mom to build up those manly muscles again!
With all of this change, Bronson had nothing but love to show to all of the people he met today (maybe not the vet but that's ok ) And when his best bud waved goodbye to him (volunteer from the shelter that was responsible for contacting Rescue Dogs Match)...he gave her a human hug and a few kisses then sat like a perfect gentleman in the back seat of the transport vehicle all the way to his foster home.
We will keep you all posted on his progress. Right now, Bronson is laying on the sofa fast asleep for the first time in who knows how long.
We are always low on funds, now more than ever. If you can help by making a donation so that we can continue to help dogs like Bronson, please click on the link:

A HUGE thank you to Danielle Colquhoun, Heather Brooks and Anonymous for your recent donations!
I would also like to thank Donna and Stephanie who helped with Bronson's transport today which was VERY behind schedule (they patiently waited almost 2 hours to make sure Bronson arrived at his foster home safely).
As you can see, to save ONE dog it takes a whole community of people!
BRONSON THANKS YOU!
